Notes: Giovanni P. Marana, author of the letters in this volume, was an Italian living in France in the seventeenth century. He wrote in the character of a Turk visiting Paris, and these fictional letters back to his friends describe what he saw and did. 233 pgs., blue boards show minimal wear, very light penciled checking on a few pages, two pages were stuck together, separation caused scarring and less than 10 words have been affected, blue and red pictorial DJ is clipepd, chipped, creased, rubbed, lightly soiled and scratched, sound binding.
